Training workshops for early childhood educators

In collaboration with the Groupe de travail montérégien en orthophonie et développement du langage (GTM-ODL), information workshops are offered to speakers, facilitators, educators and all other people involved with children 0-5 years old. For more details, click here.

Support for childcare settings

As part of the work of the Jardins-Roussillon Language Committee (JR), support meetings are offered to CPEs, daycares and daycare centers in the area, by a speech therapist from the CISSSMO. They are intended for any member of a team who has questions about the language development of toddlers, needs advice or to speak with a speech therapist.

Practice Communities

The Practice community is a group of people who work in the same universe in order to:

​-Share experiences and expertise

– Solve issues

-Underline the good moves

The GTM-ODL offers two Practice communities:

–Jasons Langage allows language workshop speakers and facilitators to expand their support network and exchange ideas with each other. The presence of a speech therapist during meetings promotes best practices!

–Discutons Continuum is dedicated to understanding the continuum and its characteristics. It is aimed at all those concerned with the language development of children.
